Planning Permission

Most loft designs do not require planning permission, they normally can be granted by the local council under a permitted development application

However Lingfield Lofts can help guide you through the planning & building regulation process, our price includes any planning visits. Our architects will draw up and submit any plans necessary, Planning office fees and visits are also included in the price

Planning your loft conversion

Let us help you plan step by step

  1. Call us on 01342 775002, and we will arrange a time convenient to you, for us to visit.
  2. We will assess your property, and take measurements.
  3. We will advise you on suitabilty of your loft for conversion.
  4. We will listen to your requirements and help you choose the best layout to meet your needs.
  5. Subject to your properties location and planning restrictions, we will advise you on planning regulations and building regulation requirements.
  6. We will discuss finishings and fittings with you, and help you choose the quality and style to suite your purse.
  7. We may be able to give you a quotation there and then if not a ball park figure to help you with financial planning, followed by a more detailed written quotation a few days later.
  8. We will Guarantee there will be No hard sell, and No pressure will be placed on you to make a descision.
  9. We will discuss dates and our availability (we only ever work on one project at a time) so you know when we can start and when your newley converted loft will be finished.
  10. We will also discuss payment arrangements, for example deposit and payment schedule's or balance payment dates, which ever is more convenient for you.
  11. When and only when you are happy with our propsal will you be asked to pay a small deposit to secure your loft conversion, and the dates agreed.
